Bitget activated its Recovery Bounty Program offering 5% rewards for freezing attacker funds and another 5% for recovery following the hack, thanking Circle and Tether for blacklisting the Bitget Exploiter 8 address and freezing 218,023 USDT plus 99,990 USDC worth $318,000 at 05:00 UTC on September 25. Attacker-linked wallets retain more than 63,000 ETH that stablecoin issuers cannot touch.
