BitTorrent: Launches BTTInferGrid Decentralized AI Network
BitTorrent rolls out BTTInferGrid to convert idle GPUs into decentralized AI inference grid, with BTT lending added on CoinRabbit.
SourceAnalysis
BitTorrent has launched BTTInferGrid, a decentralized network that pools idle GPUs worldwide for AI inference tasks, directly addressing the high costs and bottlenecks of centralized cloud platforms during model deployment.
GPU owners earn rewards by contributing hardware as miners, while developers access verified compute for models including Qwen and Llama through usage-based payments; the project leverages BitTorrent’s existing decentralized scheduling expertise to lower barriers for smaller AI teams.
BTT also enabled collateralized lending on CoinRabbit, allowing holders to borrow funds or stablecoins without liquidating positions.
With price testing upper Bollinger resistance ($0.0) while RSI flashes overbought (73.95), a healthy retracement to the 50-EMA support at $0.0 seems probable before further continuation, even as the MACD golden cross sustains the broader bullish structure above the 200-EMA.
