Analysis

Irish law enforcement recovered another wallet belonging to convicted drug dealer Clifton Collins and transferred 500 BTC valued at $41.5 million into Coinbase Prime.

Collins acquired 6,000 BTC in 2011-2012 using proceeds from cannabis sales, split the holdings across 12 printed-key wallets in 2016, and lost access after his 2017 arrest. A 2020 Irish court ordered forfeiture of the coins. With this latest seizure, authorities have now moved 2,500 BTC totaling $207.5 million to the exchange.

Bitcoin trades at $82422.73 inside its Bollinger Bands, holding the EMA50 support at $82223.21 while the EMA200 at $82047.05 continues to act as deeper floor. The MACD golden cross remains intact and RSI at 54.41 leaves room for further upside before any test of the upper band resistance at $82766.89.
