JaredFromSubway MEV bot suffered a $7.5M exploit when an attacker created fake tokens and liquidity pools to trick the bot into granting standing approvals, allowing later drain of WETH, USDC and USDT via transferFrom without any smart-contract bug or phishing.

Funds were partially routed through TornadoCash, highlighting ongoing risks in automated MEV execution systems that rely on persistent token approvals.
