MicroStrategy: Levered ETFs Fall 82% Year-to-Date

MicroStrategy $MSTR has fallen 46% year-to-date to its lowest level since February 2024 while its 2x leveraged ETFs $MSTX, $MSTU and $MSTP have each lost more than 80% since launch, with last week alone wiping out nearly half their value.

Leverage is magnifying losses across the crypto market as billions continue flowing into these products despite drawdowns exceeding 90% for many 2024 launches.

BTC trades at $59435.61 inside its Bollinger Bands with the upper resistance at $60827.22 and lower support at $59270.98; the bearish structure below the EMA50 at $61160.77 and EMA200 at $66157.24 keeps price action contained while RSI at 40.26 stays neutral and the MACD golden cross at -412.14 hints at building momentum that could still force a retest of the 50-EMA before any sustained recovery.
