NVIDIA: BioNeMo Agent Toolkit Accelerates Drug Discovery

NVIDIA ($NVDA) rolled out the BioNeMo Agent Toolkit yesterday, giving frontier models the scientific tools to compress virtual drug screening from days to minutes while turning raw sequencing data into prioritized targets for companies such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Eli Lilly ($LLY), Databricks and Snowflake ($SNOW). Jensen Huang described the system as pairing model brains with a PhD-grade toolbox that runs protein design and medical imaging tasks at supercomputer speed, and the University of Washington Institute for Protein Design already reports 2x faster RosettaFold3 performance. The move positions NVIDIA AI drug discovery toolkit as a direct accelerator for BioNeMo impact on pharma and AI agents in genomic analysis workflows across the sector.
