OpenAI: Daybreak Speeds Critical Vulnerability Patches

OpenAI models inside Daybreak now discover and auto-generate patches for critical flaws across major browsers, network gear, FreeBSD, the Linux kernel, plus open-source projects including cURL, Go, Python, Sigstore and pyca/cryptography. The update ships a Codex Security plugin for in-editor fixes, the full GPT-5.5-Cyber model for defenders, a Cyber Partner Program for security vendors, and the Patch the Planet initiative that works directly with maintainers.
