Analysis

Solana recorded 4.2 billion onchain transactions in July, a 13.5% month-over-month increase that also marks a 91% jump from December 2025 levels.

The surge coincided with $SOL climbing 40% in eight days to its highest print since February 3, while tokenized assets pushed the RWA market cap above $38 billion and Jupiter captured 71% of Solana DEX aggregator volume. Broader crypto markets added $580 billion in capitalization since August 16, lifting Bitcoin alongside the move.

Price action on the 4h chart shows $SOL at $98.47 inside the Bollinger Bands with upper resistance at $101.14 and lower support at $90.99. The EMA50 at $90.45 and EMA200 at $81.32 continue to anchor the bullish structure, yet the MACD death cross at 2.77 signals fading momentum even as RSI at 63.69 stays neutral. With price testing upper Bollinger resistance while RSI flashes neither overbought nor oversold, a healthy retracement to the 50-EMA support at $90.45 seems probable before further continuation. Traders tracking SOL price prediction models now watch whether Bitcoin strength can sustain the onchain volume spike.
