Sui: Co-Founder Details 300,000 TPS Over Visa

Sui co-founder Adeniyi Abiodun told @CryptoMichNL that the chain already processes 300,000 transactions per second, six times Visa's reported peak, while Stripe data signals the need for one billion TPS to support an agentic economy.

Abiodun, who previously led payments R&D at Meta on the Libra project, dismissed wallets and gas fees as outdated barriers and argued that sui:native will commoditize transfers so value accrues only to complex smart contracts. He stated applications, not crypto itself, will onboard the next billion users and positioned Sui as a top-three asset alongside Bitcoin scaling discussions.

Price action on the four-hour chart shows Sui trading at $1.07 inside the Bollinger Bands with upper resistance at $1.23 and lower support at $1.00. The EMA50 at $1.12 acts as immediate resistance while the EMA200 at $1.03 offers longer-term support; the MACD death cross at -0.03 confirms bearish momentum even as RSI at 35.91 remains neutral, suggesting a likely test of the 200-EMA before any sustained move toward the upper band.
