Sui Foundation is investing $30 million in DATA Network, securing the largest institutional position alongside PIP Labs and the DATA Foundation while SY Lee joins as strategic advisor.

The move folds DATA and Trace into the Sui stack, retiring the standalone chain so the protocol runs natively on SuiNetwork with WalrusProtocol as default storage and 250 million-plus receipts already logged for rights-cleared AI training data.

On the four-hour chart SUI sits at $1.06 inside the Bollinger band, capped by the EMA50 at $1.12 while the MACD death cross keeps momentum negative; any test of the upper band near $1.15 is likely to meet selling into the 50-EMA resistance before the next directional leg.
