Cool Cats, a collection of 9,999 NFTs, is based on the character "Blue Cat," created by artist Colin Egan. The collection has become one of the most recognized in the NFT market, with a trading volume exceeding $410 million, ranking it 19th in all-time NFT trading volumes according to CryptoSlam.

The NFT market has seen substantial growth, with a global market capitalization reaching approximately $7 billion as of April 2025, as per CoinGecko. Monthly sales volumes are around $600 million, indicating a vibrant market environment for digital assets like Cool Cats.

Following this investment, Animoca Brands plans to integrate Cool Cats with its Mocaverse and Moca Network projects.
