The grant facilitated Treefort Media, led by Kelly Garner, in utilizing advanced Text-to-Speech technology to create a unique audio tour guide experience.

Kelly Garner, founder of Treefort Media, is no stranger to the world of storytelling. With a background in television production and documentary filmmaking, Garner has successfully transitioned to audio storytelling, creating popular series such as 'Fatal Voyage' and 'Moriarty'. The idea for Storyrabbit emerged during a European holiday, where Garner felt traditional tour guides lacked depth in historical context. This inspired him to develop an app that could offer personalized audio tours based on user interests and surroundings.
Technological Collaboration
The collaboration between ElevenLabs and Treefort Media enabled the creation of professional-grade voice clones, allowing users to engage with multiple unique guides. Actor Dominic Monaghan contributed to the project by providing content for the “Wild Guide,” which focuses on nature-themed stories.
