Gala Games has announced an exciting new competition event for players of Common Ground World, set to begin on July 30th, 2024, at 10 AM PT. The three-day event will conclude on August 2nd at 10 AM PT, offering participants a chance to win $GALA rewards, according to Gala News.
Competition Details
Players participating in the competition will engage in crafting vibrant Starlight Market Boxes using eco-friendly materials such as strawberries, blueberries, and corn. The crafted boxes can be sold for significant rewards, and the event aims to encourage eco-friendly practices within the game's virtual economy.
Crafting and Trading
The crafting process involves creating Starlight Market Boxes with ingredients including Red Paint, Blue Paint, Yellow Paint, Eco Paper, and Wooden Boxes. These items are crafted in the Boxing Facility and stored in the Warehouse. The new standard cash value for each box is set at $71K, with a star value of 8329.
Boost Opportunities
Throughout the event, players can take advantage of various cash and star boosts. For instance, the cash value of Clay Lump has increased from $300 to $900, Ceramic Bowl from $2000 to $6000, and Honey from $7500 to $22,500. Additionally, the star value of Starlight Market Boxes has been significantly boosted from 8329 to 50,000.
Node Operators and Guilds
Common Ground World Node operators are encouraged to convert their Node Workload NFT from V1 to V2 to fully utilize the upgradeable capabilities of running a CGW Guild. The new Guild feature allows for team strategizing, shared NFT libraries, and special Guild competitions, enhancing the collaborative aspect of the game.
Epic Stationary Shop
In conjunction with the competition, Gala Games has introduced the Epic Stationary Shop, available from July 26th for $199.99, with a limited supply of 500 units. This shop allows players to craft items without Water Drums and use fewer crops, facilitating efficient and colorful creations.
Common Ground World Town Hall
Gala Games hosts bi-weekly Town Hall meetings on YouTube, providing updates and insights from the Common Ground World team. The next Town Hall is scheduled for August 2nd at 8 AM PT.
