OpenAI has unveiled a new suite of conversational applications within ChatGPT, alongside the launch of a comprehensive Apps SDK designed for developers to build applications. Expanding ChatGPT's Functionality
The newly introduced applications can seamlessly integrate into conversations within ChatGPT. Users can discover these apps through contextual recommendations or by directly invoking them by name. These apps are equipped to respond to natural language commands and feature interactive interfaces that can be operated directly within the chat environment.
This development allows ChatGPT users to engage with apps that adapt in real-time to the conversation, facilitating creativity, efficient learning, and access to enhanced functionalities. Global Availability and Partnerships
Effective immediately, logged-in ChatGPT users outside the European Union, including those on free, Go, Plus, and Pro plans, can access these application features.
