The Render Network has announced the winners of its May 2025 Render Royale, a competition that challenged artists to create 3D renderings inspired by fantasy worlds. Utilizing platforms such as Octane and Blender Cycles on render.x.io, participants delivered a mesmerizing array of magical realms and surreal landscapes.

Celebrating Creative Excellence

This edition saw 19 entries, with most artists opting for the Octane category, while two entries were submitted under Blender Cycles. The competition was judged by industry professionals including Amrit Pal Singh, Jess Wiseman, and Matt Milstead, who evaluated the submissions based on creativity and technical prowess.

Octane Render Winners

The first place in the Octane category was awarded to Sajjad Salem for "The Light Beyond," a piece reflecting human resilience and hope amidst dystopian settings. The second place went to REVILO for "rayCAST.00," depicting a journey beyond confinement. Deneth secured third place with "DICE," symbolizing life's ongoing journey.

Blender Cycles Winners

Omid Pakbin clinched the top spot in the Blender Cycles category with "RNDR Temple," a detailed rendering of a sacred monument. "The First Hufflepuff" by nothaslu, a whimsical take on a magical city, earned the second place.

Looking Forward: Urban Utopias

The upcoming theme for June 2025 invites artists to envision "Urban Utopias," exploring futuristic cityscapes with innovative designs and eco-friendly architecture. Participants can submit their entries by June 25, with a prize pool of $5,250 USDC and increased visibility across Render’s channels.
