As reported by Tegtmeyer, 48 out of 62 delivered Megapacks have been installed at Cortex 2 using large-scale Sarens cranes, with capacity for up to three times more units. This expansion is in addition to 140 Megapacks already deployed at two other Giga Texas locations, including one dedicated to the Cortex 1 cluster. The total installation could reach approximately 300 Megapacks, potentially making Giga Texas one of the world's largest battery storage sites.
