Analysis

Bitcoin is projected to advance toward the $85,000 zone where the 50-week moving average currently sits, according to trader Michaël van de Poppe. The analyst argues most of the bear market drawdown has already occurred, limiting the scope for deeper declines in the months ahead.

Price action on the 4-hour chart shows BTC holding a bullish structure above both the EMA50 at $63,740.96 and EMA200 at $63,667.55, with MACD confirming a golden cross at 91.88. Trading inside the Bollinger Bands places immediate resistance at $64,369.06 while the lower band at $62,348.82 offers short-term support; a test of upper-band resistance with neutral RSI at 56.29 suggests continuation toward higher weekly levels remains the base case before any meaningful pullback to the 50-EMA confluence.
