Bitcoin: Van de Poppe Eyes Long Setup on RSI Cooling

Bitcoin trader Michaël van de Poppe outlined three day-trade scenarios favoring longs after repeated month-end bottoms and multi-timeframe RSI cooldown signals that show downside overextension.

Price currently sits at $73902.68 inside a bearish structure defined by the EMA50 at $75209.38 and EMA200 at $76729.18. With price testing upper Bollinger resistance at $75309.41 while RSI(14) prints 43.27 and MACD registers a bullish golden cross at -591.55, a healthy retracement toward the 50-EMA support at $75209.38 appears probable before any sustained continuation higher.

Van de Poppe watches for a sweep of the €62,000 low followed by reclaim, targeting the CME gap, or a decisive break above €64,200 that flips to support and opens June highs; failure at that resistance would instead trigger shorts toward sub-€60,000.
