Analysis

Bitcoin sits in no-man's-land according to Michaël van de Poppe, who reiterated that the market is still in the final phase of correction. The analyst sees the best-case path as a sweep beneath $80,000, targeting the $78,400-$79,700 liquidity zone, before any sustained upside can develop. Invalidation of the bearish setup arrives only on a break above $82,900, which would clear the way for new yearly highs.

Price action at $81,777 trades beneath both the EMA50 at $82,343 and EMA200 at $82,091 on the 4-hour chart, locking in a bearish structure reinforced by the MACD death cross at -188.93. With RSI neutral at 44.99 and price still inside the Bollinger Bands, the lower band at $80,508 offers the next logical magnet for a liquidity sweep before any reversal attempt can gain traction toward the upper band at $84,566.
