Bitcoin: Volume Falls Below 2022 Bear Market Lows
Bitcoin trading volume on Binance averages $500 million daily versus $2 billion in December 2022, despite price at 4.5 times the prior cycle bottom.
SourceAnalysis
Bitcoin daily volume on Binance has collapsed to roughly $500 million, less than a quarter of the $2 billion average recorded at the December 2022 bear-market trough, even though the current price sits 4.5 times higher than that low.
Similar volume contraction appears across ETH and BNB, with each asset trading at multiples of its prior-cycle bottom yet attracting far less spot interest than during the last capitulation phase.
On the four-hour chart, BTC trades inside the Bollinger Bands near $76,997 while the EMA50 at $79,399 and EMA200 at $77,384 cap upside; the MACD death cross at -703 and RSI at 31 together signal that any test of the upper band near $81,244 will likely meet rejection and send price back toward the $76,451 lower band before the next directional move.
