Analysis

Standard aims to become the liquidity engine for Robinhood stock tokens by deploying its roughly $14M reserve across vaults and protocol-owned liquidity to fund markets, coordinate capital and return trading fees. Issuing tokens remains the easy part, yet without inventory on both sides markets stay screenshots; deeper pools reduce price impact but leave permission barriers untouched since Robinhood tokens function as Jersey-issued debt instruments unavailable to US buyers. The core permission problem must resolve at the issuance layer, and the same constraint applies to agents trading, swapping and lending against tokenized RWAs where holder-of-record questions persist. Standard stock token liquidity engine plans could draw institutional players into RWA permission issues and tokenized equity markets while opening paths for index products, lending protocols and AI agents to execute across funded pools.
