ORCL Price Prediction: Support test remains in focus after Oracle upgrade and softer momentum

What happened and why it matters

Oracle is under short-term pressure, but the broader setup is not broken yet. The supplied Binance futures data put ORCL at $116.24, down 2.65% in 24 hours, with the 24-hour range stretching from $120.55 to $109.29. Price is trading below the SMA 7 at $121.19, the SMA 20 at $127.07, the SMA 50 at $134.56, the EMA 12 at $123.41, and the EMA 26 at $128.08, which shows that the near-term trend remains weaker than the recent baseline.

At the same time, the stock is still holding above the immediate support level at $110.17 and just above the pivot point at $115.36. That puts the next move in a narrow but important zone: a recovery above resistance would suggest the pullback is stabilizing, while a break below support would indicate the decline is extending.

The fundamental catalyst is Stephens’ November 2, 2026 upgrade. Brett Huff raised Oracle from Equal Weight to Overweight and increased the price target from $185 to $213, saying Oracle’s investor day eased funding concerns through lower cloud infrastructure capital requirements and higher expected free cash flow. That is a positive note for the underlying Oracle equity, but it should be read separately from the short-term futures setup described in the technical data.

Technical structure: weak momentum, but support is close

Momentum is soft rather than collapsed. RSI at 38.06 sits in neutral territory but below the midpoint, while MACD at -4.6723 with a matching signal line and a flat histogram points to fading downside momentum rather than a clear reversal. Stochastic %K at 17.65 and %D at 14.12 also place price near the lower end of its recent range.

The Bollinger Bands frame that weakness clearly. The middle band sits at $127.07 and the lower band at $113.93, while %B at 0.0880 shows price trading close to the lower band. ATR(14) of $8.12 suggests the market is still capable of fairly wide intraday swings, so support and resistance levels matter more than a single session move.

In practical terms, the levels define the current range well. Immediate resistance sits at $121.43, with stronger resistance at $126.62. On the downside, $110.17 is the first level to watch, and $104.10 is the deeper support zone. As long as price stays above the pivot at $115.36, the market can still attempt a rebound back toward resistance. If the pivot fails and price moves through $110.17, the lower support band becomes the next test.

Derivatives positioning: mixed signals, not a clean directional read

The Binance derivatives backdrop is constructive in some places and cautious in others. Funding is neutral at 0.0000%, so there is no funding-cost skew pushing one side to pay heavily to stay positioned. Open interest stands at 124,349.66 contracts, with daily open interest value at $13,826,864 and a 24-hour OI decline of 6.16%. That reduction points to position closing or liquidations, but it does not by itself determine the next direction.

The long/short ratios lean bullish within Binance cohorts. Global accounts are 72.2% long versus 27.8% short, and top-trader accounts are even more tilted at 80.5% long versus 19.5% short. The 1-hour taker buy/sell ratio of 3.0741, based on 805 buy volume versus 262 sell volume, also shows aggressive buying pressure in the latest window. These figures describe Binance participants only; they do not prove the positioning of Oracle shareholders or the broader equity market.

Scenario framework

If ORCL reclaims $121.43, the next checkpoint is $126.62, with the Bollinger middle band at $127.07 reinforcing that area as a meaningful resistance zone. A move into that band would suggest the recent weakness is easing and that the market is trying to rebuild structure above the pivot.

If ORCL loses $110.17, the next level is $104.10. That would shift the emphasis from a routine pullback to a deeper support test and would weaken the case for an immediate recovery.

The current reading is straightforward: the bullish analyst update supports the longer-term narrative, but the market structure still needs to prove itself. Until price can recover the nearby resistance band, the chart remains in a cautious consolidation-to-downtrend posture.
