In a significant move for enterprise artificial intelligence (AI) deployment, Deloitte has announced an expanded partnership with Anthropic to integrate the AI model Claude into its global network. This collaboration marks Anthropic's largest enterprise AI deployment to date, with Claude being made available to over 470,000 Deloitte employees worldwide, according to Anthropic.
Claude Center of Excellence
The partnership includes the establishment of a Claude Center of Excellence within Deloitte. This center will be staffed with trained specialists tasked with developing implementation frameworks, sharing best practices, and providing technical support to scale AI solutions from pilot to production. The collaboration aims to drive AI transformation across various industries by utilizing Claude's compliance and control features tailored to meet enterprise demands.
Industry-Specific Solutions
Deloitte and Anthropic are working together to create AI solutions with built-in compliance features for regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, and public services. These solutions will leverage Claude's safety-first design alongside Deloitte's Trustworthy AI™ framework, ensuring transparency in model decision-making processes.
Paul Smith, Chief Commercial Officer of Anthropic, emphasized that the partnership was driven by the need for trusted AI solutions that can support complex tasks across industries and geographies. Ranjit Bawa, Global Technology and Ecosystems & Alliances Leader at Deloitte Global, highlighted that this strategic investment aligns with Deloitte's commitment to responsible AI, aiming to reshape enterprise operations over the next decade.
Certification and Training
As part of the collaboration, Deloitte is co-creating a certification program with Anthropic to train and certify 15,000 professionals on Claude. These certified practitioners will play a key role in supporting Claude implementations within Deloitte and its broader AI transformation initiatives.
