Bitfinex has announced the release of Version 1.108, bringing a series of enhancements to its trading platform. The update, detailed in the latest change log, focuses on improving user interface (UI) and performance, particularly for customers in the European Economic Area (EEA), according to blog.bitfinex.com.
Enhancements and Improvements
The latest version introduces a pop-up notification specifically designed for EEA customers, which will be visible on certain product pages. Additionally, the Affiliate program dashboard has been optimized for smaller screens to enhance accessibility. Translations for the nickname section in Account Settings have also been added, aiming to foster a more inclusive platform for diverse users.
Further enhancements include updates to the Order Form, which now displays a validation error for negative amounts, ensuring better user experience. The derivatives Order Form has been refined to trigger validation upon the input of the fifth decimal, while the Thalex Derivatives trading UI now includes a link to the KYC Portal for document updates.
Addressing Bugs
Version 1.108 also addresses several bugs that have been impacting user experience. The update fixes the "Reset to Default" button in the Funding ticker settings, ensuring it only appears when the currency order deviates from the default. Additionally, the wallet transfer pop-up has been corrected to allow form submission even when non-numeric values are entered. An unnecessary horizontal scrollbar in some pop-ups has been removed to streamline the user interface.
