Bitfinex Unveils Version 1.119: Interface Enhancements and Bug Fixes

Bitfinex, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, has announced the release of Version 1.119, focusing on extensive performance and user interface enhancements. This update aims to improve the overall user experience on the Bitfinex trading platform, according to blog.bitfinex.com.

Key Features and Improvements

The latest version introduces a refreshed look for the home page, registration, and other informational pages. Additionally, a significant security enhancement has been made with the introduction of one-time passwords (OTP) for the creation of sub-accounts and accounts.

Improvements in Version 1.119 include updates to the ticker settings, allowing for the saving of changes to the Derivative list sequence. The platform has also addressed color-blind theme inconsistencies within sub-accounts and deposit sections. Notably, the update disables the API key permissions button unless changes have been made, enhancing user security.

Further enhancements include the adjustment of decimal displays for fiat currencies, now showing two digits in balances instead of eight. The update also adds icons for links in over-the-counter (OTC) trading and improves the placement of the OTC price reset default button.

Addressing Bugs

Bitfinex has tackled several bugs in this release. Issues such as the balances equivalent wrap in the Balances widget and error notifications in the colorblind theme have been rectified. The update also fixes the collapsible function of trading widgets when users are not authenticated and corrects the text specifications for derivatives pairs with leverage below 100x.

Additional bug fixes include resolving the order form scaled orders issue, ensuring that the selection distribution resets when switching tickers from trading to derivatives. The withdrawal whitelisted address input issue in security settings has also been fixed, particularly when invalid addresses are used. Lastly, the sorting of landing page tickers is now based on token names instead of API names.

The derivatives platform is provided by Bitfinex Derivatives El Salvador S.A. de C.V. For a comprehensive understanding of the Bitfinex APIs and their functionalities, users can refer to the official API documentation.
