Gala Games launches the Sushi Boat Bash competition in Common Ground World, offering players a chance to win $GALA. The event starts on August 13th.
Gala Games has announced a new competition in its popular game Common Ground World, titled Sushi Boat Bash. This event will commence on August 13th at 10am PT and will run for three days, offering participants the opportunity to win $GALA by outcrafting and outselling their competitors.
Competition Details
The Sushi Boat Bash competition will challenge players to craft and sell Sushi Boats loaded with ingredients such as salmon, shrimp, eel, and wasabi. The competition is designed to be a race to see who can craft the most delicious sushi dishes, with the ultimate goal of winning in-game currency, $GALA.
Players will need to navigate various biomes and trade routes to maximize their profits. The event will take place in the Plains N biome, bordered by Ocean E, River S, and Ocean W, with a trade time of 100 seconds and one gasoline per trade.
New Recipes and Boosts
In conjunction with the competition, new recipes have been introduced to the game:
Ebi Maki
Ingredients: 2 Shrimp, 2 Seaweed, 1 White Rice, 1 Wasabi
Made in: Sushi Restaurant
Craft Time: 40 seconds
Sushi Boat
Ingredients: 1 Ebi Maki, 1 Salmon Nigiri, 1 Eel Nigiri, 1 Wasabi
Made in: Sushi Restaurant
Craft Time: 60 seconds
The competition also comes with cash and star value boosts for certain items:
- Shrimp: $4200 (up from $1800)
- Ebi Maki: $15,000 (up from $6850)
- Sushi Boat: 50,000 stars
Town Hall Events
Gala Games will host a Town Hall event every two weeks on their YouTube channel to keep players informed about the latest updates. The next Town Hall is scheduled for August 16th at 8am PT. These live events offer a platform for players to stay updated on game developments and strategies.
NFT Enhancements
For players looking to enhance their gameplay, Gala Games has introduced the Epic Shrimp Farm NFT, available in the Common Ground World store. This eco-friendly NFT crafts Shrimp from Seaweed and is unaffected by pollution. It includes an Aquaculturist worker and requires no road or wage payment. The NFT is available in increasing price tiers, starting at $99.99 for the first 10 units and going up to $249.99 for the last tier.
