Immutable (IMX) has announced the integration of Squid into its Immutable Toolkit, providing users with the ability to bridge tokens across different blockchain networks seamlessly, according to Immutable blog.
What is Immutable Toolkit?
The Immutable Toolkit serves as an entry point for various functionalities including buying, swapping, and moving tokens. It also allows users to access their wallet addresses or disconnect from them. With the recent integration of Squid, users can now bridge any tokens from any chain to any token on Immutable zkEVM.
Step-by-Step Guide to Bridging Tokens
The process to bridge tokens using the Immutable Toolkit is straightforward and involves the following steps:
Step 1: Access the Toolkit
Visit Immutable Toolkit and click on “bridge” or “Squid”.
Step 2: Connect Your Wallet
Connect the wallet of your choice to the platform.
Step 3: Select Source Chain and Token
Choose the source chain you’re bridging from and the source token you’ll be using.
Step 4: Choose Destination Token
Select the token on Immutable zkEVM that you would like to bridge into. For instance, users can bridge into $GOG, the Guild of Guardians token.
Step 5: Finalize the Bridge
Enter the amount of the source token you wish to bridge, review your order, and click submit. A “Complete” message will appear once the order has processed, indicating that your tokens are now on Immutable zkEVM.
