Render Network introduces RNP-021 to support enterprise-grade GPUs, enhancing AI and video rendering capabilities. The initiative aims to meet the growing demand in the GPU market.

The Render Network is making significant strides in expanding its capabilities, as it introduces RNP-021, a new draft proposal aimed at enhancing its compute framework. According to the Render Network's latest announcement, this proposal seeks to extend the existing RNP-019 framework to incorporate enterprise-grade GPUs, including the NVIDIA H200, H100, and AMD MI300 series.
Impact on the GPU Market
The enterprise GPU market is projected to surpass $228 billion by 2030. Render Network's initiative to integrate high-performance GPUs is poised to meet the escalating demand for advanced nodes necessary for AI training, video generation, and large-scale image modeling. This strategic move positions the network as a key player in the burgeoning GPU ecosystem.
Enhancements for Cinema 4D Users
In addition to RNP-021, Render Network has launched a new workflow for Cinema 4D artists, streamlining the rendering process. The updated Render Wizard for Cinema 4D allows users to send scenes directly to the Render Network Manager App with a single click, eliminating the need for manual file uploads and missing texture issues.
Key improvements include scene validation prior to upload, differential uploads to minimize data transfer, and a seamless API connection to the Manager App, enhancing the overall rendering experience.
Innovations with Simulon
Simulon, a new 3D VFX platform, has emerged as a significant development within the Render Network ecosystem. Designed to bridge professional studio pipelines with accessible creator tools, Simulon offers features such as real-time cloud rendering, 360-degree HDRI lighting, and collaborative shared workspaces. This platform aims to empower indie creators by providing high-end VFX capabilities without the traditional overhead.
Octane X and Render Network
In another development, Octane X has been spotlighted by Apple as a gateway for iPad and Mac users to access the Render Network's decentralized GPU compute resources. This application enables artists to render cinematic-quality visuals directly from their devices, leveraging the network's extensive compute power.
Community Engagement and Future Plans
The Render Network continues to foster community engagement through initiatives such as the Render Royale competition and various bounty and grant programs. These programs are designed to encourage innovation and creativity within the network, offering rewards and exposure for outstanding contributions.
Looking ahead, the Render Network plans to further expand its capabilities and community involvement, with events like RenderCon 2026 already on the horizon. As the network continues to evolve, it remains committed to supporting artists and creators in pushing the boundaries of digital art and technology.
