Republic has launched the Sui LaunchPad, enabling companies to easily create utility tokens. DeLorean Labs will be the first to use this platform as a token issuer.
Republic, a renowned private investing platform, has launched the Sui LaunchPad, marking a significant step in bringing private investing onchain. This latest initiative allows companies to effortlessly create utility tokens, according to Sui Foundation.
Republic's New Venture
Republic's Sui LaunchPad is poised to revolutionize the way companies approach token creation and distribution. DeLorean Labs, the Web3 division of DeLorean Motor Company, will be the first to utilize this platform, marking its entry into the Sui LaunchPad as the initial token issuer. This follows the successful minting of DeLorean’s Time Capsule NFT series, which featured 8,800 NFTs with a range of prizes, including a 2025 DeLorean EV.
Expanding the Sui Ecosystem
The Sui LaunchPad is part of Republic's broader LaunchPad initiative, which is a global investment platform designed to bring innovative utility tokens to market while ensuring compliance across various investor categories, including retail, accredited, and institutional investors. Notably, Sui will be the first non-Ethereum blockchain to be integrated into the Republic LaunchPad, which already supports Ethereum, Polygon, Algorand, and others.
Integration and Impact
Through Sui LaunchPad, developers and organizations can now initiate token fundraising campaigns on the Sui blockchain. This integration promises to facilitate token sales, investor access, and token distribution by combining regulatory compliance with investor tools. Jameel Khalfan, Head of Ecosystem Development at Sui Foundation, highlighted the benefits, stating, “Thanks to Sui LaunchPad, builders on Sui will benefit massively from access to Republic’s investor base and global visibility.”
As the Sui ecosystem continues to grow, this partnership with Republic is expected to foster greater participation in tokenized projects, providing a robust framework for both new and existing developers within the ecosystem.
