The Taiko ecosystem is set to elevate user participation with the launch of the Lockdown Campaign in Trailblazers Season 3, scheduled to begin on December 16, 2024, and run until March 17, 2025. According to taiko.mirror.xyz, this initiative offers users the opportunity to earn TAIKO token rewards and enhance their standings on the Trailblazers leaderboard.
Campaign Highlights
The campaign aims to foster collaborations within the ecosystem, featuring partnerships with innovative decentralized applications (dApps) and ecosystem partners. Participants can earn attractive rewards and a Trailblazer points multiplier, which increases with the duration of their token lock period.
Participating Projects
Two significant projects, Symmetric Finance and Taiko Drips, are at the forefront of this campaign, each offering unique opportunities to earn rewards:
Symmetric Finance
Symmetric Finance allows users to provide liquidity and earn rewards by participating in their 80-20 TAIKO-wETH liquidity pool. Users can deposit TAIKO and wETH into the pool, secure their assets in a locking contract for three months, and earn swap fees and potential yields. Additionally, participants receive a daily Trailblazers Transaction Value XP multiplier, capped at 90x for 90 days, and Symmetric Points, which are redeemable for future tkSYMM tokens.
Taiko Drips
Taiko Drips presents a lock-to-earn reward platform tailored for loyal TAIKO holders. This platform allows users to choose the duration of their token lock, with the possibility of extending beyond the end of Season 3. However, the maximum XP multiplier remains at 90x, offering significant rewards for dedicated participants.
Boosted Trailblazer XP
Participants in both Symmetric Finance and Taiko Drips will benefit from unique protocol-specific rewards and a substantial XP multiplier, enhancing their rankings in the Trailblazers program. The Lockdown Campaign provides an opportunity to earn up to 90x the daily points limit through locking transactions alone.
