World Revolutionizes Ticket Sales with Human-Only Access for Ricardo Arjona's Tour

World has launched a groundbreaking initiative to transform ticket sales by ensuring real human fans have exclusive access to tickets, effectively sidelining bots and scalpers. This initiative, according to world.org, is set to debut with Latin music sensation Ricardo Arjona's tour, "Lo que el seco no dijo," starting in Guatemala.

Combating Automated Scalping

The rise of automated bots in ticket sales has been a growing concern, with automated traffic on major ticketing sites reaching a staggering 86.5% in 2024. This has led to genuine fans often missing out on tickets to see their favorite performers. In response, World has collaborated with Ricardo Arjona's team, including Mundo Arjona, Agencia Followers, and Be Smart Mobile, to introduce a system that prioritizes human buyers.

World ID: A New Era of Ticket Sales

At the core of this initiative is the World ID, a verification system that allows fans to prove their identity as unique human beings without storing any personally identifiable information. This system ensures that only verified individuals can access the exclusive ticket sales, eliminating the unfair advantage previously held by automated scalpers.

Nicolás Fernández, CEO of Mundo Arjona, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, "We’ve always looked for ways to connect with fans in a real and close way. With World, people get the chance to access first, without bots, making the experience of buying a ticket feel genuine again."

Expanding the Human-Only Experience

The initiative will begin with Arjona's concerts in his home country of Guatemala and will later expand to additional dates across the United States and Latin America. This endeavor aims to create a more authentic and human-centric experience for concertgoers, enhancing the connection between artists and their audiences.

World's efforts to redefine online interactions extend beyond entertainment, as they seek to build a more human internet across various domains, including ecommerce and digital services. By prioritizing human engagement, World is setting a precedent for how online transactions and interactions can be conducted in a more trustworthy and human-focused manner.
