According to PeckShieldAlert, EigenLayer has suffered a major security breach, resulting in the loss of 1.674 million EIGEN tokens, valued at approximately $5.87 million. The attacker converted the stolen EIGEN tokens into USDC. A substantial portion of these funds has been moved to the HitBTC exchange, with around 5,000 USDC also sent to Kraken. This incident highlights the ongoing vulnerabilities in the crypto space and may impact the trading of EIGEN and related tokens.
