Tether: USDT Returns to Bitcoin via RGB Protocol

Tether will issue USDT directly on Bitcoin using RGB protocol v0.11.1, with UTEXO handling commercial rollout as early as July.

The stablecoin originally launched on Bitcoin via the Omni Layer in 2014 before migrating elsewhere; RGB now enables direct transfers between Bitcoin addresses and compatible wallets, with later support planned for Tether Wallet and multiple exchanges.

On the 4h chart BTC trades at $63557.88 inside its Bollinger Bands, testing upper resistance at $63978.89 while the 50-EMA at $62220.19 offers immediate support beneath a bearish MACD death cross; RSI at 58.45 remains neutral, suggesting a measured pullback to the 50-EMA before any continuation higher.
