ThreeFold and CasperLabs Join Forces

April 13th, ThreeFold and Casperlabs announced their collaborative partnership. Their outspoken intention is "to deliver a truly scalable, secure and decentralized IT infrastructure for enterprise organizations building innovative, blockchain-based solutions.", according to Neil Kapoor of CasperLabs. Both BLockchain innovators promise the decentralized ecosystem to make web3 environments more accessible to all developers and enterprises, worldwide.

Threefold and Casperlabs are not exactly new kids on the block. ThreeFold has a dedicated team that is involved in building the new truly decentralized Internet for close to a decade now. CasperLabs was founded in 2018 with a core mission to build a blockchain for enterprise adoption. After developing their core products for years behind the scene, both initiatives are accelerating at the moment. In the official announcement broadcasted on YouTube yesterday, ThreeFold's founder Kristof the Spiegeleer compared ThreeFold's decentralized Internet with solar panels. ThreeFold is not offering green energy, but very green compute, storage and network capacity. By deploying the plug and play ThreeFold Nodes, farmers become part of the decentralized TF grid. The Nodes are the solar panels, bringing the capacity close to the end-user.
