Adobe and NVIDIA collaborate to enhance creative workflows using AI-powered tools on RTX PCs, offering creators unprecedented speed and precision.

Adobe Leverages NVIDIA RTX for AI-Assisted Creative Tools

Adobe, in collaboration with NVIDIA, is transforming the creative industry with AI-powered tools. Leveraging NVIDIA RTX GPUs, Adobe Creative Cloud applications are designed to enhance user creativity, enabling faster and more precise workflows, according to NVIDIA Blog.

Generative AI Enhances Adobe Creative Cloud

Generative AI, which creates new data such as images or text from existing data, is at the core of Adobe's latest innovations. Adobe Firefly, a family of creative generative AI models, assists in creative workflows by generating content based on user descriptions. Trained on licensed content and public domain materials, Firefly ensures commercial safety.

Adobe Photoshop now features the Generative Fill tool, allowing users to add content to images using simple prompts. The Reference Image feature, in beta, enables users to upload a sample image to achieve more accurate results. Additionally, Generative Expand extends the image border using the Crop tool, seamlessly blending new content with the existing image.

RTX-accelerated Neural Filters in Photoshop, such as Photo Restoration, offer complex adjustments like colorizing black-and-white photos and style transfers. The Smart Portrait filter, based on NVIDIA Research, provides non-destructive editing capabilities.

Innovations in Adobe Illustrator and Premiere Pro

Adobe Illustrator's new Generative Shape Fill (beta), powered by Adobe Firefly Vector Model, accelerates design workflows by filling shapes with detail and color. The Generative Recolor feature lets creators explore custom color palettes via text prompts, enhancing vector artwork in seconds.

Adobe Premiere Pro, a leading video editing solution, benefits from AI-powered tools like Enhance Speech, which removes noise and improves dialogue quality, operating up to 4.5 times faster on RTX PCs. Auto Reframe and Scene Edit Detection further streamline video editing by intelligently reframing content and identifying original edit points.

Advanced Visual Effects and 3D Content Creation

Visual effects in Adobe After Effects are enhanced by a new feature that isolates foreground objects, facilitating background replacement and selective effects application. The Roto Brush tool creates segmentation boundaries for cleaner cutouts with minimal effort.

The Substance 3D Collection offers comprehensive tools for 3D material authoring, texturing, and rendering. Substance 3D Stager's Generative Background feature, powered by Adobe Firefly, allows artists to quickly generate and match backgrounds for 3D models, optimizing visualization and design processes.

Substance 3D Sampler transforms images into photorealistic materials and models. New generative workflows, including Text-to-Texture and Image-to-Texture, enable users to create varied materials and textures from text prompts and reference images, respectively.

Enhanced Photo Editing in Adobe Lightroom

Adobe Lightroom's AI-powered Raw Details feature improves detail rendition, color accuracy, and artifact reduction, especially useful for large displays and prints. Super Resolution doubles the linear resolution of images, ideal for enhancing cropped photos.

RTX-accelerated masking tools like Select Subject and Select Sky simplify complex editing tasks, allowing users to isolate elements with a single click.
