Binance announced the delisting of several trading pairs to ensure a high-quality trading market.
Binance Announces Spot Trading Pair Removal
In an effort to protect users and maintain a high-quality trading market, Binance, one of the world's leading cryptocurrency exchanges, has announced the removal of several spot trading pairs. The decision was made following a thorough review of all listed spot trading pairs, with the chosen pairs demonstrating poor liquidity and trading volume.
Spot Trading Pairs to be Removed
According to Binance's recent reviews, the crypto exchange will remove and cease trading on the following spot trading pairs: AERGO/BTC, ALGO/BNB, CTSI/BNB, FARM/BTC, FUN/ETH, and XLM/BNB. The removal will take effect at 03:00 (UTC) on March 8, 2024.
Implications for Spot Trading Bots
Binance has also advised that it will terminate Spot Trading Bots services for the mentioned spot trading pairs where applicable at the same time. Users are urged to update and/or cancel their Spot Trading Bots before the cessation of these services to prevent potential losses.
Ensuring Market Quality
The move by Binance is part of its commitment to ensuring a high-quality trading market for its users. By periodically reviewing and removing poor performing trading pairs, the platform aims to protect its users and provide a robust and efficient trading environment.
It's important to note that Binance reserves the right to amend or cancel this announcement at any time and for any reasons without prior notice. Like all investments, digital asset prices are subject to high market risk and price volatility. Investors are reminded to only invest in products they are familiar with and where they understand the risks.
