Bitfinex Unveils Enhancements and Bug Fixes with Version 1.105

Bitfinex has rolled out its latest update, Version 1.105, bringing a host of improvements and bug fixes to its trading platform. This update, announced on October 16, 2024, aims to enhance user experience by addressing performance and interface issues, according to blog.bitfinex.com.

Key Improvements

The platform has introduced several enhancements, notably in the Paper Trading Refill balances validation. Users will also notice improved lateral scrolling performance for the header in tables, making navigation smoother. The update reorganizes the button order for the ETH2 notice and the password reset pop-ups, streamlining user interactions.

Furthermore, links have been added to the header and footer menus for Affiliates and Thalex Derivatives, providing users with easier access to these sections. The update also includes new and updated translations for various pop-ups, including those related to token permissions, Bitfinex Securities, orders, and the Lightning Channel.

Addressing Bug Issues

Bitfinex has tackled several bugs with this update. Issues with the haircuts pop-up have been resolved, removing an unnecessary help cursor. The update also fixes a problem where the vertical scrollbar was not displayed in tables that featured horizontal scrolling.

Other significant fixes include correcting the OTC click-through sorting option, ensuring it defaults to chronological sorting. The TradingView chart issues, which previously hindered users from closing a position in full-screen mode, have been addressed. Additionally, the update resolves an issue where the mark price was not displayed after a refresh.

Sub-account context switching for Bitfinex Securities has been improved to display existing sub-accounts accurately. The update also fixes tooltip placement inconsistencies in the Trades pop-up and resolves issues with highlighting elements behind certain trading pop-ups. Furthermore, SAT mode in paper trading accounts has been corrected, and Firefox users will benefit from improved filter customization in Settings.

This comprehensive update underscores Bitfinex's commitment to providing a seamless trading experience by continually refining its platform based on user feedback and technological advancements.
