NVIDIA adds DLSS 4.5 controls to GeForce NOW

NVIDIA said on Thursday that GeForce NOW members can now use DLSS 4.5 controls in supported cloud games, alongside new launch-day additions including Enshrouded 1.0 and Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2. The update gives members more control over image quality and responsiveness without requiring local hardware upgrades, according to NVIDIA's Oct. 15, 2026 blog post.

Evidence and context

NVIDIA said the new GeForce NOW controls let members adjust how supported games look and perform in the cloud through DLSS Super Resolution, Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and Ray Reconstruction. The company said Ultimate members streaming on GeForce RTX 5080-powered cloud rigs can access the maximum available options, including Dynamic Multi Frame Generation up to 4X. NVIDIA said the settings are available in the GeForce NOW app for Windows, macOS, Chrome OS and Steam OS.

The company also said Enshrouded 1.0 is streaming on GeForce NOW at launch, with the survival action role-playing game leaving early access and adding nine new spells, new mage and archer skills, reworked wands, upgradeable Eternal spells and arrows, new enemy variants, a new biome, a player level cap of 50 and an equipment cap of 55. NVIDIA said the cloud version avoids a 60GB local install.

NVIDIA said Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 is also available on GeForce NOW at launch. The company described it as a branching single-player sequel set after the original game, with players choosing between Malum Caedo and Nyra Veyrath. The blog post said the game spans multiple biomes, including hive cities and jungle mangrove swamps.

NVIDIA also listed other titles joining the GeForce NOW library this week, including Deep Dish Dungeon, Planet Zoo 2, Total War: SHOGUN 2 – Complete Edition, Valor Mortis, Among the Trolls, over the hill, Beyond These Stars, Tenebris Somnia and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered. The company said dates listed reflect store releases and that GeForce NOW availability may vary as games are onboarded after release.

The blog post also said the performance of DLSS 5's 3D-Guided Neural Rendering model is improving by 2X, and that the updated model will debut in NBA 2K27 on Oct. 16 on GeForce NOW, GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs and RTX Spark laptops. Separately, NVIDIA said users can try the service with a day pass before committing to a membership, but it did not provide any new subscription pricing in the post.

Context matters here because NVIDIA has already been publishing DLSS 5 updates by Oct. 13, 2026, while DLSS 4.5 was announced earlier in the year. The GeForce NOW post therefore reads as a cloud rollout of existing DLSS 4.5 features rather than the introduction of NVIDIA's newest DLSS generation overall.
