NVIDIA's GTC Paris 2025 highlights Europe's AI advancements, featuring powerful new systems like Grace Blackwell NVL72 and collaborations for AI infrastructure and quantum computing.

NVIDIA Unveils AI Innovations at GTC Paris 2025

NVIDIA's recent event, GTC Paris, which took place alongside VivaTech, Europe's largest tech exhibition, underscored the continent's commitment to not just adopting artificial intelligence (AI) but actively constructing it. NVIDIA's founder and CEO, Jensen Huang, emphasized the emergence of a new AI industry that is now integral to the global infrastructure, termed 'intelligence infrastructure', according to NVIDIA's blog.

A New Industrial Revolution

At the center of this transformation is the Grace Blackwell NVL72, described by Huang as a 'thinking machine'. This powerful AI platform is in full production, supporting innovations from sovereign models to quantum computing. NVIDIA's partners are currently producing 1,000 Grace Blackwell 200 systems weekly, signaling a significant expansion in AI capabilities.

NVIDIA is collaborating with European governments, telecoms, and cloud providers to deploy its technologies across the region. New technology centers in Finland, Germany, Spain, Italy, and the UK aim to accelerate skills development and quantum growth.

Quantum Meets Classical

Europe's ambitions in quantum computing received a boost with the introduction of NVIDIA's CUDA-Q platform, which is now operational on Denmark's Gefion supercomputer. This platform opens doors for hybrid AI and quantum engineering, with NVIDIA partnering with supercomputing centers to advance research in quantum error correction.

Huang noted that quantum computing is nearing an inflection point, poised to tackle complex problems in the near future.

Sovereign Models and Smarter Agents

NVIDIA's Nemotron is designed to empower European developers by enabling the creation of large language models tailored to local needs. These models will support multilingual AI deployment across Europe, enhancing local adaptability and security.

NVIDIA is also introducing agentic AI blueprints, including safety toolkits for enterprises and governments, to foster the development of high-performing AI agents. The DGX Cloud Lepton platform, in collaboration with European partners, provides instant access to accelerated computing resources.

The Industrial Cloud Goes Live

Highlighting a new industrial revolution, NVIDIA announced the launch of the world's first industrial AI cloud in Germany. This initiative aims to help European manufacturers simulate, automate, and optimize processes at scale.

NVIDIA's DRIVE platform, a full-stack autonomous vehicle (AV) solution, is now in production to support the deployment of intelligent transportation systems.

The Next Wave

The keynote concluded with Huang's vision of an exponential AI future, driven by a surge in inference workloads. To meet growing demands, NVIDIA has developed the Blackwell system, a 'thinking machine' designed for reasoning and inference tasks.

These advancements underscore a future powered by sovereign infrastructure, agentic AI, and robotics, all built in collaboration with Europe.
