OpenAI has launched a new Preparedness initiative, led by Aleksander Madry, to address catastrophic risks associated with AI models. The initiative will monitor, evaluate, and mitigate potential dangers, develop a Risk-Informed Development Policy, and launch an AI Preparedness Challenge to recruit talent.
