Coinbase – a major American cryptocurrency exchange has partnered with Apto Payments to launch a new Visa debit card (Coinbase Card), which allows users to withdraw fiat currency via ATMs in the UK!
Coinbase – a major American cryptocurrency exchange has partnered with Apto Payments to launch a new Visa debit card (Coinbase Card), which allows users to withdraw fiat currency via ATMs in the UK!
The newly released Coinbase Card is currently available for the UK customers. Coinbase also released a mobile app in iOS and Android that allow customers to choose from a wide range of wallets to fund the Coinbase card. The card is able to support all digital assets listed on the Coinbase platform.
Zeeshan Feroz, the head of Coinbase in the UK said that the Coinbase card will launch in the Europe later this year. He added “In many ways, UK consumers because, generally speaking, data shows they are much more open to accepting new types of debit cards. There are a lot of challenger banks here compared with the US, where most people tend to stick with well-established businesses.”
