Indian film studio Zee Studios announced that it has officially partnered with the Software as a Service (SaaS) platform to launch its first-ever Non-fungible token (NFT) drop on Polygon blockchain.

Zee Studios, a subsidiary of the Essel Group established in 2012, is a top steal entertainment content media company operating in more than 190 countries.

Zee Studios revealed that it would release the NFT of a signed poster in the comedy film of a wedding detective named "Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari", with technical support provided by NFTically, which would be included as a part of this "Zee Studios Collection".

The CBO of Zee Studios, Shariq Patel, said that:

“It is a defining moment for us to become the first film studio in India to launch NFTs, and this initiative ties in with our future plans. Zee Studios will provide NFTs for cinema lovers and collectors through its repository of a strong lineup of film content."

NFTically is a company that can launch its own unique NFT for all kinds of celebrities worldwide, including celebrities, influential people, gamers, clubs, and companies, without the support of any technical background knowledge.

Toshendra Sharma, the CEO and founder of NFTically, stated that NFTically has always been committed to improving the awareness and education of NFT among the public and creating an easy-to-operate platform for the public by connecting with their favourite things, including collections, artists, and other works.

He added that:

"Given our deep, long-standing relationship with art, culture, and emotion, India has the potential to be the epicenter of the NFT uprising. We are excited to work closely with the Zee Studios team in launching their first-ever NFTs."

As reported by Blockchain.News on August 26, another media giant Fox Corp announced a $100 million strategic investment in Eluvio, a blockchain digital content management company founded by Emmy technical experts Michelle Munson and Serban Simu, to expand the Non-fungible token (NFT) business.
