Everipedia, like Wikipedia, is an online encyclopedia that uses EOS blockchain technology. Everipedia’s token is called IQ which is used as an incentive of content generation. On August 9, 2018, Everipedia was launched based on the EOS blockchain. In September 2017, Larry Sanger, the former confounder of Wikipedia, became the chief information officer(CIO) of Everipedia. According to TechRepublic, Larry Sanger once said: “Everipedia is the encyclopedia of everything, where topics are unrestricted, unlike on Wikipedia”.
