A Non-Fungible Token (NFT) is a specific kind of digital asset that serves as a representation of ownership or certification of uniqueness for a particular object or piece of content. It utilizes blockchain technology, predominantly on the Ethereum network. Unlike other tokens, an NFT possesses distinct characteristics that allow it to stand out, making each one unique and non-substitutable with another. This differs significantly from fungible cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum, where individual units are interchangeable with each other.
